This was an easy trade, I found someone wanting a fishing pole/reel and tackle for her daughter to go fishing. She had nice churchill plates! Only had to drive to Winder.
After looking up online these items go for about $100 for all the Blue Willow Churchill dishes. Don't want the cash don't ask, would like to trade. Dinner Anyone?
What I've learned.
1. Value for an item is in what someone else thinks it is worth.
2. These are the type of Dishes my Wife wanted when we got married.

Fishing Gear
Got a trade! This time it's in Commerce but had to wait for the weekend. I don't like waiting almost as bad as waiting for rain when it's dry. But this seems to be a good trade. Two Fishing Poles with reels, 1 spinning reel and a tackle kit. I hope I got a good deal because I don't know anything about fishing other than fishing for a house cat with a string and stick. Does that count for anything? Don't think so, if it means anything my daughter has 2 very fat and lazy house cats, and it's very very hard to get them to play with a string but that's not the kind of cat fishing the fishing poles and reels are for. Maybe I should try cat fishing with these.
I showed the fishing gear to one of my co-workers and he showed me how to clean the spining reel, (which of course I haven't done yet) and said he really likes the Abu Garcia Ambassadeur Bait Caster Reel on the Challenger im6 Medium Action Rod.
So Cat Fishing gear anyone?
Some traded some I still have asof 7/29/2012
Find out what traded.
what I've learned.
1. I still don't know much about fishing or fishing gear.
2. Fishing rod and reels come in pink.
3. Cat fishing isn't about house cats.

Pearl percussion kit
After trying for about a week to trade my air compressor for something bigger and better, I finally got someone who wanted to trade. The problem was he is in Acworth Georgia. That's about a 2 hour drive on a good day from where I was coming from. Also the person wanted to trade in the evening just after rush hour. With no luck from before on trading my Old Red Air Compressor I said let's do it. I kept asking myself "is this worth it, I know I really wanted this air compressor off my hands but really; Acworth?" Well I rolled the dice on the trade and scheduled a time and location in Yes Acworth GA.
I really wish there was a magic flying car for trade at the stop and rob gas station close to my house and again all I was thinking was "Why am I doing this?" Oh yeah to trade to get a family car. The drive to Acworth and back wasn't fun, really could have used a flying car then.
As I started my drive, the rain came down very hard and with the rain there must have been great white shark teeth coming down as well. What with all the people who had flat tires along the way. It took me a little over 2 hours to get to Acworth and I don't know how I did that.
The guy I was trading the Air Compressor wanted to test it , but we ere at a gas station, not really a plug to plug it in. He said he had a plug inverter for the car, plugged in the Air Compressor and turned it on, then his inverter goes pop. But he said it sounded good enough to say it's good and traded for a pearl percussion set with a zildjian cymbal and stand.
Things I learn:
1. Georgia Rain brings tire popping Great White Shark teeth.
2. Air Compressor's pluged into an AC/DC converter plugged into a car go POP.
see what I traded for.

The Start
With my wife having been
recently diagnosed with MS, our income has lessened a bit
and our bills have gone up. There are a few things we need to help out
with this but right now we really need a family car that she can drive and is safe for her to drive. One issue with people with MS is
heat is very not their friend.
I've decided to try to
trade items I have with the hope and goal of being able to get my
family a Van or SUV that will work for us and mostly for my wife.
I started the trading with an Old Red Air Compressor and hoping to to getto the vehicle from there.
Let me start out by
telling you about the SUV we have. We have a 97 Ford Explorer Eddie
Bower 4x4 with these cool big tires and let me tell you this is a
HOT ride. There is a wonderful feature that makes it a really HOT
ride and I mean HOT, only trouble is I've only EVER liked this
feature when it's cold outside. After driving for about 30 minuets
Hot air starts blowing in through the climate control system
regardless if you turn the AC on or not. Even better, not only
does it turn itself on for you; it turns on high heat. So of course
rolling down the windows is a good option for some, I've
always liked the "I placed my arm out the window so that I can get that
nice red glow" look.
The next best feature of
this SUV is that you don't need to use the annoying car horn to to
save the bob cats from being eaten by alligators. There must be an
undocumented feature built into this SUV to know when an alligator
is close by or close to catching a poor bob cats. Only what
seems random when driving down 10 in Athens Georgia, is there a loud
spinnin g humm sound followed by the engine revving up and the SUV starts
to slow down. I just know that sound has to have been built in to
scare those cat eating alligators and slow the SUV down so you can
possibly see the gratitude on the cats face as it runs by.
So unless you have
something to trade a HOT SUV that scares alligators and comes with free sunburns; would you
consider trading one of my other items I have to trade for something
bigger and better to help us out? I currently have some Churchill Plates and an Abu
Garcia Ambassadeur Bait Caster Reel on a Challenger im6 Medium
Action Rod.
7/11/2012 I started out with this old Red Air Compressor. Well not that old, and even better rarely used.
